YONECO’s Tithandizane Helpline Services Department provides crucial support to individuals in crisis, ensuring that the assistance offered to individuals and communities is effective and responsive.
During the training exercise, counselors participated in activities that were designed to deepen their understanding of Accountability to Affected Populations (AAP), which is a critical component of humanitarian response.

The session was conducted under the Malawi Drought Response Project which is being implemented with financial support form the European Commission’s Humanitarian Aid and Civil Protection department (ECHO). This project is being implemented by a consortium of eight partners: Care Malawi, Act Alliance, CADECOM, Eagle’s Relief and Development Programme International, FOCCAD, Save the Children, Self Help Africa, and YONECO.
